We offer an array of residential visits that can be part of the Duke of Edinburgh and Adventure Service Challenge programmes or as a separate entity. They can be catered to your school's bespoke needs.
Our team will take a group of up to 16 students on a one-night residential in the peak district area. Upon arrival at the destination, the group will complete a navigational walk that is led by our staff. Pupils will be encouraged to take turns leading the task, working as individuals and as part of a team. Students are encouraged to overcome challenges, anxieties and make positive contributions to a group effort. In the evening, the group will either camp or stay in a hostel, depending on the time of year. The group will eat out together in a public area, allowing pupils the opportunities to develop prosocial skills and confidence. The group will return back to school the following day.
