On Wednesday 4 March, accompanied by Mr Scott and Mr Alcock, four of Holton’s Middle School pupils were fortunate enough to see a Premier League fixture in Manchester.
We had some great seats located in the home end, on a corner flag. We all enjoyed watching the warm-ups before the game kicked off. The game finished 2-2, leaving a couple of our pupils disappointed with the result! At the end of the game, we managed to get the tram out and back to the minibus before returning to drop the pupils off at home – rounding off an excellent trip!
The pupils’ behaviour, maturity and respect were exemplary throughout the whole trip. As staff members and a school, we couldn’t have been prouder of them. We hope they enjoyed the experience as much as we did.
